Hi Diane, 

I'm a big fan of Image Skin Care's liquid foundation, I-Conceal. The whole line is great. It's one of the few lines with a healthy skin foundation. One note-the lightest color is still pretty warm, not light enough for very light Fitzpatrick I's.

I purchased a sample pack. I tried applying it once & a tiny bit goes a long way. I ended up w/ way too much & line of demarcation. Any application tips would be appreciated.

I recommend applying with either a foundation brush or a dense short fluffy brush like a kabuki that is typically used for mineral powder foundations. with that brush you get a lighter application, just use a stippling technique and blend well. good luck! anna

Hi Diane! I've been a huge fan of Jane Iredale cosmetics for years and she has a liquid mineral foundation that is terrific! Several beautiful shades to choose from, very nice coverage, and healthy ingredients (Vit C, Coenzyme Q10, Hyaluronic acid, titanium dioxide, etc.)! I use this makeup for correctional makeup applications everyday at the med spa I work for and my clients love it!!! Oh and another thing, her makeup is very light feeling and enjoyable to wear!

Agree, Jane Iredale has all formulas, powder, liquid and BB cream which offers great coverage and healthy ingredients.

I was using Illuminaire...really great coverage...

but since I started using Osmosis Color, I have changed my mind about powder on my aging skin.

Maybe it's their primer and concealer that makes the difference, but I think that my skin looks great with just a little pressed powder.

Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation so far is the best for me. I have acne prone skin.

Can estheticians retail Tarte?  I've used their blush for years but always purchased from sephora.

No. It's sold on QVC and mass discount retailers like, Ulta. It's not a professional grade make up, but I believe the original question was asking regarding personal use, so a valid response from some.

I agree with Tarte....full coverage...and it is great for all skin types.....I am 64 and love it....as do my acne clients!  When 2 gals agree on anything.....I would sit up and take notice!!!!!!
