My clients are requesting Eyelash Extension services, and I'm hoping for pro/con feedback from the professionals.

After reviewing online content I am leaning toward NaturaLash.

Comments/Suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi Samantha,

I have one more question!

Do you find it helpful to use a certain type of chair while applying lashes, and do you use a special pillow or support for the client during long applications?

Thanks again, you've been so helpful :)

Nicci

I'm so sorry I didn't see this question Nicci!

I use my bed in the flat mode with a slight raise to the head.  I take my seating lower because this allows me to keep my back straight while being closer to my client's forehead.  This is what works for me.

Also, as an update.  I started working with the D-Curls and I love love love them.  I thought maybe they would be more "dramatic" because more curl = more drama.  But that was not the case.  These really look very feminine, soft, and pretty.  I really really like the D-Curls.  I say C for divas, and D for ballerinas.

Was it hard taking this online?

Best response, Samantha! I specialize in lash extensions. I urge you to get hands on training! I would NEVER recommend an online training course. this is one of the most tedious, meticulous services and also can be extremely dangerous if you don't know what you are doing! I love JB LASHES

HI Samantha! I had to reply here since it wouldn't let me reply to the post from yesterday! Thank you for the suggestions, it makes sense to sit lower. I imagined sitting hunched over for two hours and it made my back hurt already!

Well...I ordered my kit yesterday!! The rep made suggestions for the different types to get. I think it was 2 boxes C curl, one J curl, and samples—or 1 box of D's. Do you use the minks or the other? It won't ship out until Monday, so I could ask them to change it if you recommend I start with the D's. I didn't know :) I tend to attract more ballerina clients than Divas, Lol!

THANK YOU for all your help, you are so sweet!

Nicci

I really do recommend the Ds.  They look very pretty.  I wish I had a sample picture but I haven't taken any lately.  Yeah, watch your posture.  I have a saddle chair that I use which has helped my posture a ton.  I do use Mink, I DO NOT like the bagged lashes.  Bad idea.

Good to know! I'll see if I can get them to adjust my order. Let me know when you post a pic, I'd love to see them :)

has anybody heard of the semi permanent lashes?  I worry about jacking around with medical grade glue so close to the eye...

There are many posts on this site on the topic. Just search eyelash extensions and posts will show. I am not a lash specialist, but am considering getting certified. Good luck!

Thanks Nicci! Every time I search, it comes up empty.

Okay, try searching "lash extensions." Good luck! I've been researching online for the past few weeks, just to get a feel for what's out there and the lash industry as a whole.

Use the search box in upper right corner. The other one not working right now. You'll find dozens of threads there...
