Hi Margaret: Sebaceous hyperplasia is where the oil gland is appearing at the surface of the skin. It is my opinion and experience that you cannot exfoliate them away. I always had them physically removed with a hyfrecater. Anyone else?
Would a deep medical chemical peel work for these? Or dermapen?
Thank you all for the replies. I think you answered my question very thoroughly.
Thanks again!
I have a little secret on them as I have 2 on my own face...or did have them.
Apple Cider Vinegar......no lie.
I was amazed it worked, I did a morning and night daily application to the site and did not wash it off... it dissolved them completely, they scabbed right over and poof...gone. I left one on as it has a freckle in it and looks like a "beauty mark" lol
My derm was going to remove them ( mine were not huge and no way I wanted to pay out of pocket for removal ) so one day I had a acne breakout on my chin, got annoyed with myself and just plopped the apple cider vinegar on my face and saw a change happen rather quickly.Maybe it was just my skin, but you never know..it could work for others.
