Hi there. Just wanted to ask your thoughts on Epicuren. Pros, cons, etc. New to the line and just want as many words of wisdom I can get ;) Thanks!

Hey!  Let me know what you decide.  I have extensively sampled Epicuren twice over the years, and there are some products I really really like, BUT I have never been able to get over the huge minimum order, and not all the products are a perfect fit for our studio (clinical skincare).  That said, if I were in a little bit colder climate, doing more relaxing facials, had more retail traffic etc., it would DEFINTELY be on my list as a luxury line to carry!

What is the minimum order to work with this line?

When I inquired 4+ years ago, it was around $3k.  I know that things like minimums may have gone up in that amount of time, but I will also say that with the down economy and fuel prices, I have personally had several success stories negotiating down with product minimums so I could test the waters with just a few products (my fav way to go).  I'd guess they would still want some ample representation in your spa, but you never know until you ask :)

I have used and carried Epicuren for 12 years. I still LOVE the classic epicuren facial with the cinnamon hot peel and double layer enzyme/protein mask, the chai soy mud mask and the hydrating mineral mask. I don't retail as many of their products as I used to, as most of my clients are using Skin Script for home care.

Tell us more!  Who would the classic epicuren facial be suitable for?  What other major skin types can you treat with the line?  How do you like the protein/enzyme products?  Do you usually retail SS because of the price points??

Great! I am very excited in pushing this product.  I currently use Phytomer and Epicuren at my spa. Phytomer is an extremely expensive line. Fabulous facials. Beautiful specialty facial results, but retail is ridiculously expensive for the cost of our treatment facials alone. Does not add up. Things are a little backwards where Im at, however in that case Epicuren will be my main focus.  I am continuing education Mondays and am motivated to learn as much as I can. I do the Enzyme facial frequently. One of my main concerns (as a lot can agree) is my clients with hyperpigmentation. Drives me bonkers that my spa does not offer a specialty facial aimed just for that. I will be pushing it thats for sure. With the Epicuren line, what would be THE BEST result orientated facial to combat sun damage, scarring, melasma, etc.... ? What results have you seen?

Oh I am very interested in epicuren too!
