Hi ladies, I was wondering how long it was taking everyone to do a full set of lash extensions? Mine have been ranging between 2 1/2 to 3 hours, sometimes a bit longer. I am very happy with my work but feel bad that it takes me this long. I am using products from LashBase, is anyone else using these?

In my lash training we were taught with consultation, lash application, home care and rebooking it should take around 3 hours for a full set

Hi Ladies,

When I hire someone new or am doing my training course this is the first question I get asked. My style of doing lashes may be different than some salons as we do not count lashes and my goal is to get 90-99% of all lashes. It is possible to do the consultation, set and check out within 2 hours. There are some factors that help speed up the lash time. Good products: the right tweezers are key, using a primer before you start will help the lashes bind together, good lashes that do not have a plastic texture (a silk-PBT blend is best) and the right adhesive that sets quickly. The rest is up to technique, that is harder to articulate, easier to teach one on one. But fast isolation is key. Try to remember that you are using muscles (brain, right and left hand) that you do not normally use and with practice and time it is possible to do the whole appointment within a shorter time frame. Just stick with it and you will get there.

I was also trained with 2-3 hours for first full set! My clients don't feel rushed and they are totally fine with using this service to relax and forget life for a while :) Quality will keep them coming back! I treat all my clients as continued practice. Good Luck

Hi Ladies, I am also at 2 ½ -3 hours for a full set. I use a very quick set glue, and I go back and forth between the eyes per lash. I keep my glue and lashes next to the client's head, and I isolate quickly. I'm also wondering if there are any tips or tricks that have improved your application time? Thank you!
