Strip Wax Brazilians

Hi everyone, Just an inquiry....I am certified in brazilian waxing, however the certification was done using hard wax. Which is fine, BUT....I'm going to be honest here, when I have them done to me, I prefer the way my aesthetician always did them, with strip wax ( nufree). And really think I would rather offer strip wax to my clients...

I could go ahead and just do them with strip wax, but I prefer to actually see/know whats going on down there from the etsys view and not the client view, before I go ahead and change to strip.. if you know what I mean.

Any ideas ? thanks

For Brazilian I mainly use strip because I find it more efficient. I apply oil and blot before I wax. I use hard wax when hair is thick and heavy or if there are very short hairs remaining.

Thanks for replying Jennifer, exactly how I feel about strip being more efficient, and less discomfort ( in my opinion ) and yes I like the hard for small cleanups.

I offer private one on one brazilian wax training and use bothy hard and soft strip wax for my class. I don't care what hard wax you use (I have reviewed most on the market) you will never get a completely smooth wax with just hard wax. I use soft wax on the mound, hard wax on the labia, soft wax in the thinnest spread on the labia for the residual strays that always get left behind with hard wax(always re-oil and blot in between using the hard wax and strip wax) Strip on the outer edge of the butt crack and hard wax down the center and around the anus and perineum.

Hi Tamara, You should do what you are comfortable with number 1. Everyone has their preference of waxes. I'm a hard wax girl in the Brazilian area because it is less irritating and really gets the hair much better than soft wax. In my practice, I do have clients that say they much prefer the hard wax to the strip wax. But again you are the professional and it's up to you the type of service you want to provide and how you want to provide it. Clients really don't know the difference unless they have had it both ways. Do what feels right for you.

I started using Nufree specifically for Brazialin waxes. I quickly started using it all the time for every body part. I love it! I can do a Brazilian wax in 15-20 mins. It is really that easy for me to use. This wax grabs the hair so easily. I do small sections at a time too. I just put the wax on the area to be waxed then I push (not rub) the strip, then pull, it will even grab short hairs. A good tight stretch also helps too. I seriously can't say enough good stuff about this wax. I've gained a lot of clients because of this wax, no kidding! Even they notice a difference in the waxes!
