Hi All,

I just got in a shipment of backbar and ordered some locally made, organic products I'm excited about for retail. Up until now I've been more "word of mouth" and friend-referred, but I am going to make some postcards up to leave in local bars and coffee shops (I live in an "up and coming" neighborhood that really doesn't have any salons or spas offering facials, and am lucky enough to have a few pals who own bars and restaurants nearby), and I'm stumped on the pricing.

I offer a lot of perks and discounts, but have never separated my facials according to peels/masks etc. It's always been a one-size-fits-all approach, but now I'm thinking in terms of having affordable upgrades to offer as well.

I'd really appreciate any input re: how you all price your treatments. What is *your* basic facial? What upgrades do you offer?

thanks, <3

Hi Julie,

I am new to all this, and trying to build my clientele, so, i priced my treatments on the low end to attract business.   I have a "Basic" facial for $35.00....then, I offer upgrades, such as  Anti - Aging Facial (stronger exfoliants, serums, eye treatments)  or acne facials (targeted treatments, high frequency) for $40.00.

My enzymes, peels and microderms are priced at $50.00 each, or a series of 3 for $135.00.

I offer new clients $10.00 off any service of their choice on their first visit.

What market are you in? Thanks for writing back!

I am in Chicago....southwest side.
