Hi All!! I currently am using a 9 in 1 machine and the steamer went out. I checked the company that I received the machine from and they no longer make the machines. I have always used this brand for my machines and need help on what brands are dependable and of high quality. I don't want to invest in something that ends up breaking down on me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Not to be a downer, but your experience is exactly the argument against multi machines... one piece breaks and you're out an entire treatment room. I would say for now replace just your steamer (personally I really like the Satin Smooth tabletop steamer... I find tabletop steamers are the best for me because they don't eat up more floor space or result in a tripping hazard, and Satin Smooth's model has a nice long arm and seems more durable than the others I have owned) and keep using the rest of your functions, but start replacing anything that breaks with single units. For example, Bellaire for the skin spatula, LCL Beauty for the high frequency, FOREO for the rotary brush, Shelley Hanson for the electroporation tool, etc. Personally, I have two carts - one has my pitcher and bowl plus all my modality devices, the other has my steamer, wax, mag lamp (clamp style onto a wooden cart from IKEA), and then holds closed bins of supplies down below (plus a little separate storage cabinet with my FAVORITE hot towel cabbie in the whole world on top of it). That's just my 2c on how I'd go about transitioning from multifunctions to single function pieces, since it is so much easier to send things out one by one for repairs than to have to suspend your entire operation because you're down a machine that contains all your machines. If you're dead set on a multifunction, go to LCL Beauty. They have them modular style so you can pop out the broken one and send it back for repair or replacement, and their equipment has treated me fairly well - especially the stuff that is not super high-tech. I.e., I wouldn't trust them for a Radiancy-type machine, but they're good for things like HF, steamers, mag lamps, etc.
