I am attending a ladies pamper party in October and I am looking for a quick treatment idea. The pamper party is for pink themed for breast cancer awareness. Our spa's massage therapist will be offering free chair massage, and I would like to offer another quick service to draw people to our booth. We will not have running water at our booth, so that is one thing to consider. Can't wait to hear your ideas!

I recently did a beauty event at a retirement center. I offered hand treatments, makeup touchup and "discreet hair removal". Since I didn't have water, I had a crockpot of hot towels for hand treatments - cleanse/exfoliate, hydrating mask & moisturize/SPF. For my discreet hair removal (who wants to have their chin hairs plucked in front of people?) I had a folding screen set up. Many of those ladies aren't able to see all those rascally hairs.
I decided not to do waxing because I didn't know if I would have the time for a full consultation: medications, etc. I did do tweezing, but didn't want to lift skin if someone was on a medication that I didn't have the time to research.
Please let us know what you decide! Sounds like fun.

Though you might want something other than massage... the hand part of hand and arm massage (often used in a facial) with a nice hand cream can go over well.
A makeup finishing touch - lip color and blush...you could add a little shadow on the eyes...talk colors that contour and highlight.
A quick brow grooming (just the stork scissors and brow brush) add a touch of brow color if needed.
Or...you could do a brow wax depending on how much time you want to spend with a person. Will you have a table or chair that reclines some?
Some wet-ones type wipes on hand and the usual disposables.
Have fun!
Eyebrow design, treading or tweezing, facial waxing, paraffin hands treatments, Makeup applications and fake eyebrow applications: all can be done with no running water. PS: There is cold wax for hair removal that works great even on hairy men arms, so no burning risks.
Really great question and my apologies for the extremely late response. I recently started participating in this blog. I use a 'manual microdermabrasion' treatment that cleanses, exfoliates and nourishes the skin in one application. You may email me for information. This is a product that I formulate and market. I am not sure what the rules are for this site regarding posting one's own products.
@Susan, I am interested in your "manual microdermabrasion treatment. I or I should say our sckool is doing a women's event in the near future. We are all trying to come up with great things to do at the event. I think this may be something that we Or I could offer. We indeed do mircodermabrasiion at our school. I sent you a friend request so you can message me with the details. Just add me as a "Friend". Thanks!
