What product line and wax is the best to use for Brazilian waxing? I'm thinking of adding this to my menu. Any help and advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I am not a fan of any type of Roll on product...
I am a Former Dental Surgery Assistant /SterilizationTech, and roll ons can & will cause cross contamination infections ! when you roll any product over skin, it lifts off dead skin cells and bacteria, and then rolls it back into container....gross!!
(Any type of Roll-on is Forbidden in the Medical world! Its only allowed in ours ,becasue its a Cosmetic Product not a FDA approved , so its not regulated!!)
Then the bateria grows in bottle and deposits back when re- used :(
I practice universal precautions ,so I am not a fan of anything that would ever be in contact with skin more that once!
I have clients who do like the PFB..so I advise they wear a disposable glove and apply the soloution onto the gloved hand..then use the gloved hand to apply product to area:)
as far as ex folliating, I tell clients to scrub area starting the following day ,after Wax..Mother Narure wants that Follicle to close, and I need those Hairs to get OUT!! I have very lilttle issues with bumps with my clients, only the ones who dont scrub every day :(
I also tell them No LOOFAHS No shower Gloves ! all those do is sit in the shower and grow GERMS like
Staph & mycobacterium the same germ that cause Pedicure infections!

Please be careful when advising your clients to "scrub"! They should gently exfoliate every day--except for the day after being waxed since it may be a bit sensitive. If they scrub too vigorously they could irritate the folicles. Moisturizing is also recommended. Many of my clients like the PFB roll-on--but again--never the day of or even day after waxing, but tell them to use it especially the week prior to waxing-it helps to control the bacteria living on the skin. I completely agree with Cats post above--I use the strip to clean-up just the few stragglers but never on the labia!...and practice, practice, practice!!! People LOVE it when they finally find someone who can do a great brazilian and you will build a very loyal practice! Best of luck!
I agree with Cat the bikini waxer, she has a very good point about how it can grown bacteria on roll ons, loofahs, and even those exfoliating gloves. I think clients using a scrub from a sealed jar is the best thing.
Has anyone tried "Serious Serum"? Here is the link to it, http://www.seriousserum.com/ It sounds like a good product but wondering if anyone on here has tried it already and if they got any good results from it? Please let me know!

I am planning to buy a Satin Smooth dual well heater that says it fits "most brands 14-16 oz tins". I am interested in using Cerepil. Will their 400g fit into that well size?
Thankfully we learned how to do Brazilian waxes in school on clients with hard wax. It makes it so much easier and faster- and if you get wax where it doesn't belong it isn't the end of the world!!! just really oil them up all over. :-)
How do you handle hygiene prior to intimate waxing? do you just make it a matter of course for them to get undressed and "clean up" with a baby wipe or something? Just curious how you sort of "run the show".... am getting started in a couple months in my own business and plan to add Brazilians to the menu.
Julie,
Does it work well to remove coarse hair in sensitive areas? I've found the blue hard wax to be the ultimate best for removing coarse hair for brazilians. I've heard some estheticians mention they use soft wax after hard wax to clean up the little hairs that are left, do you do that?

I occasionally use Cerepil Blue, but I mostly use Epillyss' Millenia lukewarm wax with muslin strips. It's easy to work with and gentle on delicate skin. I love it!
Katrina,
It does! I was a little skeptical at first...but it works, beautifully. I have done a clean up with the soft wax after using the hard, which works well. I have also intentionally used both, using the soft wax for most of the bikini and then finishing off with the hard wax in areas that are sometimes harder to access with a strip.
Hey Mary - I tried to contact him in Canada but I don't think they are doing it anymore. I want to say they directed me to YG Labs but I don't remember now. They still have a website but it took a while for an answer.
