I'm wondering if anyone has a Bio-Hydroderm V2 machine in their facial room. The microdermabrasion machine that I have currently is almost 14 years old and I'm considering a new one and don't want to make the wrong choice. I would appreciate feedback from those of you who use MD.
Thanks soooo much!!

hi jaque im thinking of getting this machine as well but will first be getting a facial from it from somone local to me in los angles who has it. currently i have a hydrafacial and silkpeel and dermasweep and ultrasonic and crystal and crystal free microderms so i though id also get the bio hydroderm v2 machines anyway its different then microderm because its a wet exfoliation rather thena dry one so id keep both to offer different choices. in any case will report back to you after i get my first bio hydroderm facial next week. marc
Thanks Marc.......I'll look forward to hearing from you after your TX! There is so much out there to choose from and so many claims !!! Jacque
Hello Jacque
I purchased the Bio-Hydroderm v1 last summer and am extremely happy with the equipment and the results I see for clients. I've used it on myself, too, with no problems. I like the ease of cleanup. I understand BHv2 is only slightly different to use - might actually be easier. The company reps are pleasant and responsive, and the company supports education for all their equipment. I live on the Oregon coast and don't have any problems getting supplies quickly when I reorder. Hope this helps.
Absolutely! I have equipment envy after seeing your post about all your machines! I'll visit your web site referenced below and leave you a message. Marcia
Great topic Jacque!
I like the idea of the wet/dry microderm a lot.
Are you doing some comparison with other units? Did they give you a price on this one?
With the Hydraderm, it looks like BT has a whole system - so the product investment is a consideration too.
Marc - If you already have a Hydrafacial, what advantages/differences are you looking for that you are considering this unit?
I'm just interested in bringing in something that really does what the claims say they do. I can't sell something that I don't feel is really benifiting my client. So I'm trying not to be so implusive, doing some research before spending that hard earned money!!
I agree! If *I* love a piece of equipment, love using it and what it does then it's a perfect fit.
My last purchase was thought over for a long time, and I sought out a spa that had the same equipment and booked a service to check it out.
Marc -LOL! You like to have toys!
More machines isn't always "more better"! Pick the best for YOUR business, be fabulous with those, and the clients will appreciate your expertise. Why spend the money for three different units that do the same thing? Do the research, choose the best you can and be proficient on those.
Marc, You are't that far from me.....I'm in Laguna Niguel in a Derms. office. My business has slowed over the past few months, we had a PA who referred all her patient's to me.....she moved on so I need to get something new and do a little advertising which I have never done.
I appreciate you having all the bells and whistles, people like the latest thing out, I like to see major results when a client leaves my room. Being in a derms office I see a lot of acne...That can be a challenge, always looking for new and better in that area too.
I'm going to get up to SM and book an appt. with you after you have the tx with V2......Thanks for your input.......also, Cindy thank you too!!
