If so, please let us know which "situation or action" got you fined.

I've found that some common mistakes have been made be some of us, which needs to be addressed by the mayority that are starting and wouldn't want to get involve in a "sticky" problem which will eventually "cost $$$" , yes money that we can very well be spending into our business, not out of it.

Stay tuned to this articles cause I'm about to expose a "situation" in which I really won't like any of my followers or upcoming skin care professionals in this great business have to go through.

I Just can’t believe that this topic is of one one’s interest and specially us California Estheticians ! ! !

There are situations out there that we should ALL be open about, that is IF and only IF we REALLY want to help our upcoming "Professional" Estheticians and or Skin Care Therapist.

I am waiting patiently for another college takes turn and chat with all of us about cases and or situations that we could chat about and avoid mayor complications and misunderstanding among our community of Skin Care Professionals from all over the country.

Hoping to hear from you soon,

Barbara Calebaugh

I wasn't fined, but a colleague was.  I cannot remember how much it was for but it was ridiculous!  She had a bottle of oil and no matter how many times she labelled the bottle 'oil' the sticky label kept falling off leaving the bottle without a label on it.  The day they came in, her bottle was sat there in her room with no label on it specifying what was in it!

Claire Thanks so much for your responce!.

When I wrote this note here I was expecting more to come out just as a reminder that we Do NOT always know everything.  I'm about to be in front of my State Board Inspector Officers/Panel, once I've been in and out of all this that I'm going through I truly WILL BE A CRUSAIDER and I mean a TRUE crusade, but then again I need to wait until my day comes to stand in front and expose my situation and how I and very much other will see fit to terminate "the situation"

Stay tune and you'll see what I was referring 2.   Until then my new friend Claire, be safe.

Back when I first started working and I shared a room with another booth renter(that really like to cut costs), there was an incident re: reused sponges. During an inspection they found used sponges in her UV cabinet. The health dept did not fine her, but they told her she could not launder and reuse disposable sponges.
