I wanted to share a related idea. Have you seen the "scratch off to reveal a prize/void if removed" cards, where you have to bring the card (or catalog, etc.) into the store to see what you've won? Well, here is a link to a reputable vendor for this: http://www.easyscratchoffs.com/
You simply peel & stick their scratch off over your text. This could be used on the back of business cards, brochures, catalogs, etc., with the caveat that it must be brought to you to be "revealed".

That is a great idea! I have also found giving a dollar amount discount to other businesses that offer drawings has been helpful in getting clients in the door. Once we get them we can sell them product or other services and hopefully they will continue to come back!
Had to share this....
So, today is the first day of the event starting at 10am. I got here at 8:30 to do a few things before the day got going. There was someone sitting in her car out in front of the Center. It was a client hoping I would show up early so she could pick out her surprise gift before she went to work! If this is a sign of what the day is going to be like....it's a great start!! The second day for the clients to drop by is Saturday 8am to 3pm. I'll post again after this is all done and let you know how it turned out!

This is so much fun...just had to write again! The second person just came in and she picked out the $200 in service and she was ecstatic!
Here's the update on how the event went...not as well as I had expected. Some tweeks need to be made if I do it again in the future. Most of the people that showed up with a printout of the email I sent out were my long time regulars (gotta love em' for their support!). I already give all of them a really good price for their facials. My hope was to bring back some clients that had not been in for awhile...well, that back fired! So, I told my regulars that they could use the percentage off toward product and not service....they all completely understood. If I ever do this again, I'll make sure to send the email only to clients that we haven't seen in awhile or who had only come in once.
