I've recently been working on numerous clients with sensitive/reactive skin.  I don't feel that my current product line is gentle enough for their skin type.  I'm new to the industry and would love some recommendations on product lines that work well with this type of skin.  I would prefer a natural/organic line since I know synthetic fragrances can really upset sensitive skin.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

IMAGE. their Ormedic line and their Vital-C line are WONDERFUL for this type of skin. no fragrances- only cold pressed essential oils. no parabens. no petrochemicals. no synthetic additives.

Here is a line made specifically for sensitive skin.

Laura, I was unsuccessful with Techniche here in the dirty South. It seemed to cause breakouts in all of my test clients (myself included, even though my acne prone skin is under tight control), even when products were matched with specific guidance from the rep.
Conversely, I've had good luck with incorporating a few Zenmed products into my backbeat, but don't have much interest in carrying a non professional line.
It seems that the sensitized skin I see here is not predominantly lacking in sebum production, which explains why the highly emollient Techniche products were not as helpful here as they might be in other climates. Maybe a greater proportion of sensitization than other demographics because pollutants and allergens stick to the skin more in the humid air?
Any thoughts on formulas closer to Zenmed, but in a more professional line??

Hi CSP!  To be honest, I haven't used Techniche much - tried a few products out for ezcema which worked well.  I don't know anything about Zenmed.  Thanks for the feedback on Techniche!

I think they would be truly ideal in cold dry high altitude places.

Hylunia is what a usually recommend.

image is great!

I am looking into a product line called Vital Therapy right now and they offer a good amount of products for sensitive skin. They are also a natural line. I should be getting a few of their products in a couple days to try them out. I will let you know how it goes.

IMAGE & Tu'el... They are both wonderful for sensitive skin!

Circadia and the private label we represent have multiple lines to Powerblend and customize for your clients specific needs.  For example sensitive and oily skin, would need a mild cleanser, but one that hydrates to prevent more oil secretion, also to prevent drying out the skin.

The private label is avaliable for you to customize to your salon or spa name, as an added benefit.

@Mark - what's the private label line?

LOVE control corrective.  I have never had a sensitive client that had a problem with the sensitive control corrective.
