Hello All,
I am new to the group. Have been in the industry for over 30 years and licensed for 13 years. I would love to know if anyone has a steamer they are truly impressed with. I have tried several and due to moisture build up, etc. I have used, stop using and still I don't seem to find anything that seems to work for me. Any suggestions?
Hi! Thanks for publishing my article Goals and Resolutions in the current edition of Skin Deep!
Jesse...I would love for you guys to be at my event and I would love to visit your office! It'll be on July 22nd but I don't have the venue yet. Let's chat.
Also, can you help me with whom I contact about an article I was ask to write for Skin Deep. My computer deleted a bunch of emails and that was one of them. I have my article ready but don't know who to send it to...thanks!
Shelley, so excited to hear you're coming to Colorado! Be sure to let me know when I can show you around the ASCP headquarters! We'd love to be a part of your "Show & Tell" too!
Oops...sorry about the typo on the word Estheticians...of all words to goof up I have to goof that one! :-)
Just wanted to let you gals (and guys if we have any!) know about a great workshop coming to Southern California in August..."Empowering Estheitcians". There will be four industry veterans speaking about their business success tools. I'm one of the speakers! Here's the details: http://www.shelleyhancock.com/seminarstraining.html
Also, I'm bringing "Shelley's Show & Tell" to Colorado in July!! Details coming soon to my website. Have a great day everyone!
thank you Ann for your experienced advice!
@ Kristin:
I think the best advice I could give you was gained by personal experience..NEVER give your services away! Do not drastically reduce them either. I know how badly you want clients, but believe me, there are better ways to get and KEEP clientele. Add-ons are a great way to bring in clients...what is more valuable than time? Spend an extra 10-15 minutes doing arm or hand massage...things like that...I have a client who has been with me for 5 years now and she gets 90 minutes everytime she comes in (started at a 60 min service) and now I give her a glycolic hand treatment during her facial as well...stellar customer service is the key...when you appreciate your clients (and they truly know it) they will remain loyal, tell their friends and family and you get to live your passion. If you want feedback from clients, give them a little questionnare at the end of their service...tell them if they fill it out and bring it back at their next appt they get 10% discount (or something extra) and get them to re-book right there. People do not want gimmicks (at least customers who want to be loyal) they want to be treated as if they are the only clients you have :) Best of luck to you!
I am a new Esthetician working in a salon and day spa. I am promoting with buy a facial/get a facial introductory offer. Also a punch card stating buy 6 facials get the 7th at 1/2 price and the same for body treatments. I also want to do a Book a Friend promo. I am looking for more ideas from other expert Estheticians that they have found to work for them to keep loyal customers?
