You can get insurance through ASCP (that's this website). It covers skin and lashes. I do not know about CA laws

Vicky- YES you need insurance especially if you are independent.  If you end up working for someone they may provide it.  Lashing is difficult as we know. If you can find someone that will give you further training you will benefit from that.  Try posting on craigslist for both jobs and offer a special. I did this (special) and got several people- although it did help me to practice the retention was minimal. Who did you train through?  Xrteme Lashes has a link on their professional site that sometimes lists jobs.
