I don't see why you couldn't use the High Freq (but ask your Dr.) Your body only comes in contact with the current for a second right before you touch it to the clients skin, right?
You can use high frequency as long as you place the electrode on the face before turning it on (atleast that is what I was told to do while I was in school and pregnant.) That way you avoid direct contact. But always check with your doctor first.
You just have to use caution and your best judgement. I am almost 27 weeks along with my second child. When I was pregnant with my first, I stopped performing all laser treatments...Laser hair removal, vascular & PDT. I worked for a derm at the time, so fortunately I was able to train an MA and have them step in to that role for me. Looking back, I think it would have been fine to continue performing the laser treatments, but you just never want to take any chances.
