Image Vital C serum is my go to for dry, dehydrated skin. It has hyluronic acid to work as a moisture bond within the dermis. It is designed for rosacia, hypersensitive skin types so it will ease irritation associated with Retin A. Non greasy formula dissipates in the skin. This is my #1 selling product, it is so versatile. I sell it to all dry, sensitive & rosacia skin types, early anti-aging, as well as my acneic, problematic skin clients to sooth & hydrate. It smells fabulous as well. Call Image & they will send you a sample kit.
Hi Dawn, I am a graduate from the Face Reality Acne Clinic and have seen outstanding results with getting clients clear with the regimen and products. Check them out...www.facerealityacneclinic.com. You start clients slowly on the active products like benzyl peroxide and vitamin A which will prevent them from drying out. check out their before and after photos too!
Has she tried something like Tea Tree, Totoral, or Benzyl Peroxide? How is her other routine? Cleansers, toners, serums?
She needs to get off Retin A and switch to a healthier and less irritating Vit A like Retinol. Retin A will keep her super dry and inflamed, and cause pre-mature aging.
Is she using the Retin A every night? If she is flaking, tell her to use it only 2-3 times a week until her skin can tolerate it. She can incorporate products for sensitive skin into her regimen to help with redness, irritation and flaking.
Retinol is also a good alternative for Retin A. It is very effective and easier on the skin. If she switches over, she should also start using it only 2-3 times a week until her skin can tolerate nightly use.
Is it the cream form of Retin A? If so it's highly comedogenic. Retin A is designed to make the skin peel and to also be an irritant. There are much better ways of clearing the skin without the dryness and irritation. (I am Face Reality, btw). Email me if you want more info on how to clear her skin. laura@facerealityacneclinic.com
Is retinA is clinically proven or dermatologist recommended? I think you have to advise your clients for a cream or serum which is clinically tested and suits for all type of skin. I have heard Zeroblem reviews; this serum has all those quality, and it is a multi-action serum deep cleans, disinfects, and dissolves excess oils to address several of the underlying causes of skin flare-ups and helps to remove acne and blemishes.
Hyaluronic acid ampules or serum use in a 10 days treatment and repeated one month later. The face must be humid before applying the serum. Massage the serum in completely. (1 quarter in the palm is enough for face and neck). After massaging in put a moisturizer for normal to oily skin for all 10 days. After this treatment go with regular routine for the condition of the skin: normalized or back oily, rarely still dry ( if the client has mature skin).
