Charging Technicians For Back Bar
I was wondering if anyone charges their technicians (aestheticians, massage therapists, & nail techs) for back bar costs? I have owned my own spa and worked in a number of spas/ healing centers and have never been charged for back bar. My boss has mentioned it a few times now and I would like some feedback from other owners on the subject. Thanks

I always had a service fee deducted from each treatment. Facial was 5.00 and up, brows 1.00, etc. This hurt especially when I was only getting 40% com. Good luck.

Wow. That's the first I've heard of this practice. I wonder why it would be a separate fee, instead of just factored into the commission %.
