I use cerapil lotion and citrus oil. I have great results.

I use a mineral based citrus oil for pre and post wax. Yes I do use the cerapil wax as well.

@Jessica what kind of citrus oil do you use? Do you use it after you wax?

I have always used powder with hard wax and strip wax (dust off excess). Two reasons: acts as a guide (so you know which area still needs to be waxed and dries the skin for good adhesion of the wax. Oh, almost forgot reason #3: the service of waxing feels more comfortable for the client! I have been waxed without the person using powder...ouch !

@Lisa I think powder is making a comeback to waxing....for a lot of clients the oil is not helping the ingrown invasion problem :(

I am just going back and reading old discussions, but powder vs oil just came up in my spa.  I was always trained to use powder and thought if oil was used the wax wouldn't adhere to the hair folicle.  I am learing this is not the case as all!  I just ordered Ciperil Jasmine Oil and am going to try it out.

Kara I always suggest to use the the same pre and post products from the wax company you are using. So if you are using Cirepil Oil are you using Cirepil wax?

I used Cirepil and their oil for years. I switched to Berodin and the oil that they use for prepping the skin for both hard and soft wax.  The wax adheres to the hairs and the oil helps protect the skin.  I also use their post wax essential oil after the service to help soothe the skin.  It is my experience that if our clients exfoliate their skin and use liquid shower/bath soaps it helps alleviate  ingrown hairs, with that I recommend exfoliating gloves as they can be washed and put into the dryer to help eliminate mold.  They are also cheap enough that they can be replaced regularly. All of my clients have seen an improvement with that routine.
