I too am planning the opening of my practice and have felt the enormity of choosing a line.  The amount of hours I have spent is amazing!  I have met with a Bioelements rep (was looking into starting with them too Gina, ha ha and partnering them up with PCA which I love!  Too bad they don't have an additional spa line that smells yummy for some facials)  I like that Bioelements treatments and products can be custom blended.  I was told by my rep that a big selling point is how the retail products can be custom blended, hmmm.

Anyone loving Image products?  Anyone absolutely loving any product line that is both results oriented yet aromatically lovely, naturally?  Makes me want to create on someday! :)

Katrina,

I actually did read that article, but saw an ad for it a few months ago. I contacted the company and they provide all day training where you bring a model in Los Angeles and NY only. It is my understanding that it is 100% all natural herbal combination. The founder is from Germany (2nd generation). It calls for a 5-7 day down time for the client and the treatment costs to client range from $500-$900. They, of course, recommend their line of home care.

Thank you Pamela. That was very helpful.

Jami,

Did you read the article about the Herbal Peel in Skin Deep too? I thought it sounded like an interesting peel being plant based. Only thing is that it doesn't say what companies sell it and how to get training for it? Must be pretty new.

Heather,

Where does it say on the Skin Script website that their line is organic? I thought it was at first but they don't say anything about organic, just that it's an all natural line that uses fruit enzymes. I really like some of their fruit enzyme masks! I don't like any of their moisturizers..mostly don't like the smell or the others are too thick, leaving a tacky feel.

I'll be attending a Skin Scripts intro class May 1st.  The line is interesting and I'm looking for a new line.  Also looking at AND (A Natural Difference our of Florida) and Rhonda Allison (out of Texas I believe).  Both have the same manufacturing resource.  I really prefer custom blending with both Only Yourx and Skin Blends.

And, yes, I use Larua's acne line. I was looking for an acne line that has a good mandelic acid.  Both Laura and I took training from Dr. Fulton (co-founder of Retin A and owner of Vivant).  I did well with Only Yourx acne products but they don't have mandelic.  Laura has a great selection of home care products to treat the various types of acne and they're not overly aggressive.  They're designed so that you can start an acne client with a product that won't cause adverse reaction with the strength to be gradually increased . . . which is the way we're supposed to treat them but most lines don't have the selection or training needed.  Visit Acne Specialists on Linkedin for more conversation.

Thanks Heather! Acne is not my specialty, more anti aging issues. I do run into the occasional client and would like to know more. that is a very frustrating issue to deal with. Herb a Peel looks pretty interesting too. I think my client base would pay the pricey treatment cost if it worked like they say it does. I just need to find the time to fly out to LA! I can't even find the time to eat in a day-LOL.

Have not yet used skin scripts, but I like that they are all organic.  I like the enzyme choices that they offer & that they do not hold you to an opening order! :)

I have not use Laura's acne line, but do find it intriguing & have considered getting certified.

Heather,  what do you love about skin scripts?

Also, have any of you ever used Laura's acne line?
