LED Light....I Wouldn't Be Without It!! 41 Replies

My first experience with LED was way back in 2003. It's kind of a funny story and I think I'll make a video and put on my website! Revitalight was my first machine. I got some great results, but after a while I couldn't handle sitting there for as…Continue

Help! I scratched client with dermafile! 31 Replies

I tried the dermafile on a client, while she was steaming with a SS enyme masque yesterday, and she had a large, round scar on her lower cheek that she was concerned about. She wrote me today and said this: "scratched an area in a line under where…Continue

Shelley, I have a friend coming in today for a facial.  I did the pot of gold Skin Scripts on her before and we have her on a full regimen to treat her melasma.  She is getting married next week and is worried about breakouts.  I was going to lend her my mask and let her use it over the course of the week alternating between blue and red light.  Will this give her a nice glow before the wedding?  I didn't want to do a treatment next week because we are spray tanning her Thurs?  Just curious your thoughts.  Could she use the mask every other night or every even?  I have been using my personal one at home and I love it!!  Ladies, you need this mask for yourselves too!!  It's great, watch tv with it on.

Good quesiton Jamie! I'm not sure if I would ask for a deposit but I would have a short contract that they sign and you have their credit card on file so if something does happen to it, they know that they are responsible for such and such amount. I think the rental amount is going to vary per city but somewhere around $25 to $40 a week seems fair.

What would you charge for mask rental and would you ask for a deposit?

Hi all! Shelly, I've already asked you this, but wanted to see if anyone else had some feedback for me. Has anyone worked in a plastic surgeon's office? If so, can you please tell me if it was a good experience, pros and cons? Thanks!

I would defintiely make up a short contract to rent the mask stating they would be responsible if something happens to it.  Just in case the dog gets a hold of it or something like that! :-)

I can't wait to get the Celluma! And may need to get the mask to rent out- hmmm
- Or just have them come in for more Celluma treatments? Do you have the sign a contract to "rent" mask?

The Celluma is more powerful than the mask...but the mask is still fabulous for the investment. The Celluma has to be plugged in. Some Esty's that purchased the mask and now want to get the Celluma are using the mask as a rental for home use when a client has an issue that needs extra help. You charge them to use it in between their treatments with you.

I purchased your LED mask in December, how do you think it compares to the Celluma as far as results? Is the Celluma rechargeable?
Comment by Shelley Hancock on March 7, 2013 at 7:01pm

You can now purchase the Celluma Panel through Paypal with 6 months to pay! WooHoo!!! It's $1295 and I'm running a special offer: FREE shipping and two FREE products.

I've always said that you want to be careful purchasing cheap LED machines. We have actually taken machiens apart and found regular light bulbs with blue cellophane over the bulb!!

This company is using quality LED's but wanted to keep their unit affordable which is awesome for us!! We are going to be able to get good results with fewer LED's than a full face panel because of the close proximity to the face.
