One way to avoid too much sun exposure is to stay out of the sun between the hours of 11am and 3pm. The UV rays are the strongest between these times. If  you need to be outside, be sure to use a sunscreen with a 30 SPF (sun protection factor). And of course, wear your eyeglasses to protect your eyes!
