I kept arguing with a friend that he shouldn't lance his papules/pustules with a needle saying it ultimately creates a wound that leads to hyperpigmentation and possible infection. He argued that the…Continue

Ready.

I finally got my Alexandria Professional sugaring supplies in the mail.

So very close to actually debuting my site--my very own mobile business! I'll admit that I'm a bit...apprehensive. Of course, the wild ride comes with the territory.

Only a few short days left until my big solo adventure to the great  city of  Los…

Self-Discovery: Knowing Your "Fit" in the Spa Industry

I haven't had my license for very long, and I've already left 3 different salons/spas.

Why did I just "give up" these jobs when I know so many others are struggling to look for just one?

Honestly, I felt extremely uneasy-- to put it basically, I felt like I didn't belong there. The little voice inside, coupled with a literal gut-wrench experience whenever I prepared to go to work propelled me to ultimately leave.

To Be a Master~

My apologies. I haven't been updating like I should! :(

Anyway, it was awesome to find out my last/very first blog entry was featured. Thanks for that!

Also, since my last entry, I've only had one no-show, and all my clients are pretty sweet. I do try my best to listen to them and cater to their needs as much as possible. So, for starters, I'm 22. I've recently just hit past my 300 hour mark at the Cinta Aveda Institute in San Francisco. I've seen a total of 6 people as actual clients so far, and every day I'm at school, the more and more motivated and deeper in love I get with my career path of choice.

Of course, given, there will be no-shows. How frustrating is that?…

Hi Cat,

It's Willie, I'm in DC now. No shows are bound to happen and more in school than in the real world. Once out there Clients will do anything to hang on to their appt. or their money, meaning that they will still be charged for their service even if they don't show.

Keep it up.

Miss you.

Willie
