Music is a big deal with me, as it also sets the mood. My clients love to hear about the past owners of my home and the history behind it. My practice room was once the music room that held a piano so I share how the love of beautiful music is still here, in the walls. Of course I use soothing piano…

Are any of you frustrated by the adds on Groupon and Living Social for discounted treatments. As professionals I feel we've shot ourselves in the foot. In these tough times there is little loyalty and many of our clients ( even our most loyal) are just jumping from sale to sale

You can determine whether a person is in the warm or cool category by the person's skin and hair color. Holding a white sheet of paper next to a client's skin often helps determine if the client has a warm or cool skin tone, as the white paper serves as a base of comparison. Knowing a client's skin tone is important in make-up design in order to choose colors that complement a client's natural coloring.
