New Best Week Ever blog up at SkinCrush! This one is all about Teen Tuesdays at our clinic. Does anyone work with teenaged patients? I would LOVE to hear your ideas about getting young patients more interested and engaged in skin care. Thank you!! http://www.skincrush.com/?p=235

Our clinic recently brought in a new device called the SkinPen by Bellus Medical. It's a microneedling device that allows for better product penetration and collagen stimulation. We've been really happy with the results! If you're interested in reading more about this treatment and how it's working for us visit my blog at http://www.skincrush.com/?p=231

Alrighty everyone, I'm going to tell you my secret to success, what puts me above the realm of some of my coworkers.... I enjoy massaging feet! Of course I make sure to clean and sanitize them first, but I've found that it has nearly tripled my client retention rate!
When I was first hired at a full service day spa, I never even considered touching the feet of my clients unless they were getting a reflexology facial in which case I had no other choice. I was most certainly…

A client I'm currently working with has grade 3 inflam
ed acne. She's been on a 5% BPO every other night over all for a couple of weeks now & that has helped reduce the inflammation significantly. Her homecare is good & she is faithful to follow it. I'm considering a microderm for her next treatment. what would you say to me?

I have been licensed for 4 years, however, couldn't find a job 4 years ago so I put off my passion and now trying to establish myself as an esthetician as my one and only career and job. I have been hired by 3 businesses, 1 newly opened spa, a massage practice with not much room for me (I have to use whatever room is available and supply everything including my own linens, products, tools, machines and expected to spend 2 days there answering phones for 5 hours if I do not have a facial.…

I've been really thinking about doing Micro Needling on my clients. I'm an esthetician and a Permanent Makeup artist in So California. I'm wondering, can I add this service to my menu? Does anyone know where I can get training? Also, I already have a permanent makeup machine. Can I use this or do the micro-needling pens work better?
