Insurance for Private Label Cosmetics

Hi. I was wondering if you wanted to create a cosmetic line or skin care with a private label what insurance companies offer coverage? How do you go about getting insurance for your new skin creams and makeup? In case someone had an allergic reaction or just decided to complain.

From my research many insurance companies don't want to know. They don't seem to understand that you wouldn't be creating things from your kitchen but with a professional private label company.  If there is…

Skin Care companies who ship to Japan

I was set to open my home spa next month. I planned to use Skin Script RX, but I haven't placed my order just yet. Today my husband told me that he was given orders to Okinawa Japan (he's active duty Air Force). Obviously I need to find a different skin care company that ships internationally. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of skin care companies that would ship to Japan? I WISH Skin Script RX would still be an option. Please help!

PMD Pro Microderm

Has anyone used PMD Pro Microderm? I saw it in Universal. The price is $99 which is extremely low compared to a machine. I'm wondering if this is something to use on clients and charge for the microderm service or not. Any thoughts?

Newbie

I am a newbie here.

I have been interested in skin care all my life...I am Nurse and recently decided to follow my passion of skin care. I used to do facials in my BFFs facial spa and just did her face as well as some friends of ours but never professionally. They always complement me that I have gentle hands and know a lot about the process.

I was wondering if I still need an esthetician license to work or will my nursing license be sufficient. can I take classes to improve my…

Eyelashes, Eyelashes, Eyelashes!

Who else thinks their brothers have prettier eyelashes than yourself?? Considering all the trauma we put our lashes through (curling, mascara, combing, rubbing) it's a wonder we still have them! Finally, there is a fantastic solution! Eyelash extensions! I am certified and experienced but I am open to new products! although I like Blink, I wish there was something a little more soft and natural feeling. not so stiff.

The Importance of Stimulation for Your Skin

It's important to understand the role of stimulation for specific skin conditions such as dehydration, mature skin and congestion. When we stimulate the skin through treatments and product application we increase the blood flow to the surface of the skin. We're bringing nutrients and oxygen to the surface which in turn feeds and nourishes the problematic areas, especially dry, dull skin. It's like a…
